We’ve Partnered with the NRHA

We’re excited to announce that Downunder Horsemanship has become a corporate partner of the National Reining Horse Association. NRHA is a worldwide organization dedicated to the promotion of the reining horse and the sport of reining. Clinton has been a longtime supporter of the NRHA as a member, competitor, breeder and owner, and sees the newly formed partnership as a way to increase awareness of the association and participation in reining competitions.

“What my method of horsemanship emphasizes and what the NRHA promotes are closely linked. My hope is to help promote reining and get more horsemen involved, especially at the entry levels of the sport,” Clinton explains. “I think a lot of people mistakenly think that you need a $70,000 horse to be active, and that isn’t the case. The NRHA does a great job of offering levels of competition and resources for every type of horseman, and I plan to help increase awareness of all they have to offer.”

Todd Barden, NRHA’s Sr. Director of Sponsorship & Television Programming, says: “The National Reining Horse Association is excited and proud to welcome Clinton Anderson’s Downunder Horsemanship on board as an NRHA corporate partner. As a longtime competitor, he understands our sport and how to prepare both horses and riders to be successful. His passion and knowledge for reining can give every level of rider the tools to achieve his or her goals – whether it’s in a Green Reiner Class or the NRHA Futurity. NRHA looks forward to bringing the multifaceted world of Downunder Horsemanship’s clinics, tours and television to its members.”

NRHA has over 800 NRHA-approved shows worldwide with about $13 million in competition purses annually. Downunder Horsemanship will be an official corporate partner of the NRHA Futurity & Adequan® North American Affiliate Championship Show, NRHA Derby, NRHA Cowtown Classic and the NRHA North American Regional Affiliate Finals.
