Clinton and Murphy (aka Takin No Prisoners) added another impressive accomplishment to their record, earning the title of Open Reserve Champions in the Level 2 Junior Working Cow Horse Finals at the Markel AQHA and Adequan® Select World Championship Show!

The pair put together a standout performance in the highly competitive finals, showcasing the kind of partnership, preparation and hard work it takes to compete at the highest levels. Murphy, a talented, 5-year-old stallion owned by Greg and Robin Cole, continues to prove himself in the show pen, and Clinton is proud of the progress the two have made together.

Success in the show pen is never a one-person effort, and Clinton is quick to recognize the people who help make these accomplishments possible. A special thank-you goes to Greg and Robin Cole for their continued support and trust over the years. Their commitment to Murphy and Clinton’s program has played an important role in the journey.

Clinton also extends a huge thank-you to Method Ambassador Maddison Burkhart, whose dedication to grooming and caring for Murphy doesn’t go unnoticed. The time, attention and effort that go into keeping a performance horse feeling and looking his best are invaluable, and Maddison’s hard work is an important part of the team’s success.

While the Level 2 finals brought home a reserve championship, Clinton and Murphy aren’t finished yet! The pair will return to the show pen to compete in the Level 3 Junior Working Cow Horse Finals.

Congratulations to everyone involved in this accomplishment! We’re proud of Clinton and Murphy and look forward to seeing what they do together next.
