See the Method in Action This Weekend

The countdown is on for our second Walkabout Tour of the year! The event will take place in the Senator Bob Martin Arena in Williamston, North Carolina, March 2nd and 3rd, and promises to be jam-packed with ways to boost your horsemanship and stay inspired to reach your goals. Although Clinton and his clinicians work with Clinton’s standout performance horses throughout the weekend to share the partnership the Method can help you achieve, he also explains how to start the Method and use it to fix horses with unwanted behaviors.

Using local problem horses to educate the audience is important to Clinton because when he was a young boy learning horsemanship, he was often discouraged by trainers who taught lessons using trained horses. “I really started to get frustrated with those trainers because while the horses they worked with performed each exercise like a pro, my horse was the complete opposite. I’d try to back him up, and he’d lunge toward me with his teeth bared. I’d flip through the book or review the video trying to find the answer to ‘What if my horse tries to kill me?’ but was left empty-handed,” Clinton explains. “They had me believing that a horse should respond perfectly to an exercise the first time you attempt it. In reality, nothing could be further from the truth. Horses are just like humans, they don’t learn perfectly.”

For that reason, Clinton uses four horses with longstanding problems he’s never seen before throughout the weekend in a variety of demonstrations, ensuring the audience gets to see the good, the bad, the ugly, and of course, the end goal.

Although the tour’s main focus is on instruction and inspiration, there’s plenty of entertainment and giveaways. By the end of a tour, Clinton hands out his entire library of training videos and books, equipment and tools. Our sponsors are a generous bunch as well, always surprising the audience with free product and fun raffles. When it’s all said and done, over $9,000 in prizes and giveaways are handed out throughout the weekend.

For a complete rundown of the weekend’s schedule, visit our website. Tickets are $25 for the weekend. No Worries Club members receive five free tickets. Tickets will be available at the event.
