Horses Needed for Memphis Tour

Having issues with your horse and not sure what to try next? Or, are you just looking to put a good start on your horse? If you’re in the Memphis, Tennessee area, you can get your horse personally trained by Clinton and our Professional Clinicians!

We’re looking for horses to work with in a variety of training sessions taking place at the Walkabout Tour being held at the Agricenter ShowPlace Arena in Memphis, Tennessee, March 15 and 16.

Training Demonstrations:

Colt Starting
Working with a horse that has never been saddled before, Clinton and our clinicians share the steps we take to ensure a safe, first start for a horse. The two-part demonstration focuses heavily on groundwork preparation and giving the horse a solid foundation.

Problem Trailer Loading
At one point, every horseman comes across a horse that refuses to get anywhere near the trailer. Working with a horse that has a longstanding history of trailer-loading troubles, our clinicians share Clinton’s step-by-step approach to building a horse’s confidence to willingly get in the trailer.

Gaining Respect and Control on the Ground
While our Professional Clinicians work with two horses that have a history of being lazy and unmotivated or reactive and spooky, Clinton explains how to begin using the Method to gain your horse’s trust and respect on the ground.

Riding With Confidence
The same two horses used in the groundwork demonstration return to the arena for a riding session. The focus is on getting the horses to tune in, relax and ride with confidence.

Learn more about the opportunity to have your horse worked with during the Walkabout Tour and submit your horse for consideration by filling out an application on our website.
