Have Your Horse Started at This Year’s Colt Starting Clinic

FILES2f20162f022f0301_05.jpg.jpg

Clinton’s 10-day colt starting clinic is not only for horsemen who want to get hands-on help learning how to start their horses, it’s also for horsemen who want to have their colts started by an experienced horseman. As part of their education at the ranch, Academy students must participate in the colt starting clinic. These individuals are experienced horsemen who are passionate about the Method and will train your colt under Clinton’s supervision. It’s a great and inexpensive way to get a good, safe start on a young horse.

You’ll be welcome to watch the clinic, but you will not be permitted to interfere with your horse’s training or participate in the clinic itself. At the end of the clinic, the Academy student will spend several hours with you in a mini-training session, demonstrating to you what your colt has been taught. By the end of the 10-day clinic, all of the colts will be loping on a loose rein down the trail and confidently negotiating obstacles on Clinton’s world-class obstacle course.

The cost to have your colt started in the clinic is $740. For more information, please contact Brittney at [email protected] or 254-552-1080.
