Clinton Learns How to Train Buffalo

1205_02

The December No Worries Club download features Clinton working with Duncan Steele-Park and Glen Aspinall for a final time to learn how to incorporate buffalo into his reined cow horse program. In this lesson, the focus is on teaching one of the buffalo to be used for circling. During competition, after taking a cow down the fence, horse and rider have to drive it to the center of the arena where they circle it going in one direction and then in the other. The goal is to remain in control of the cow at all times. Glen coaches Clinton through training the buffalo to be used for practice. Like all the other sessions, this one is filled with many aha moments that carry over to general horsemanship.
