The National Reined Cow Horse Association’s Snaffle Bit Futurity kicked off last week with the Rein Work preliminaries. On Saturday, Clinton and Hulk put in a phenomenal run, earning a 221. The score tied them for first-place honors in the Limited Open, as well as tied them for second place in the Intermediate Open and for fourth place in the Open division.

Hulk, registered as Dontdrinkandworkcows, is owned by Randy and Angela Massey, longtime supporters of Clinton’s performance horse program. Clinton has been sharing Hulk’s training progress since the roan gelding was a 2-year-old with No Worries Club members in the Performance Horses: Reined Cow Horse Series. To view the entire series, log on to the No Worries Club website or the Downunder Horsemanship app.

Clinton and Hulk will enter the arena again on Wednesday to compete in the Herd Work preliminaries.  The Snaffle Bit Futurity is being live streamed on the NRCHA website.
