Fundamentals With Shana

Yesterday, Shana welcomed a group of horsemen from across the country to the ranch for a five-day Fundamentals clinic. The clinic will officially start today, with participants reviewing the philosophy of the Method and then roundpenning their horses. Tomorrow, they’ll begin the clinic with groundwork exercises in the arena and will ride their horses in the afternoon. By the end of the week, Shana will have them riding on the trails around the ranch and working on the obstacle course. We bet the participants leave the ranch with a newfound appreciation for what the Method can help them achieve with their horses and a healthy respect for the hard work it takes to build a trusting partnership. This is Shana’s last clinic of the year! Check out the 2014 schedule for clinics held at the Downunder Horsemanship Ranch on our website.
