Raising foals is a lot of fun. The thing to remember when you’re raising a foal is that the little things make a big difference – both good and bad. Remember, the younger you can get to horses and the more consistent you are with their training, the better you can stop fear and disrespect from developing in the first place to prevent problem behavior later on.
